Rosanne van Klaveren
Rosanne van Klaveren researches new ways of storytelling within the field of new media since 1999. She studied Autonomous Art at the HKA (Arnhem, Netherlands), Photography at Post-StJoost (Breda, Netherlands) and Cultural Studies at the KUL (Leuven, Belgium).
Her project Braintec (www.braintec.info) won the ISOC-Award for Internet and the Arts in 2002 and was nominated for the International Media art price in 2003. In cooporation with Waag Society and Stichting Kunstgebouw she run the pilot project for Register van de Dag van Gister (Het Verhalenkabinet,www.register.nl). She realized many other storytelling projects in which people can participate under the name Digitales Verhaalprojecten (www.verhaalprojecten.nl).
Van Klaveren teaches media art and storytelling at the Media & Design Academy (Genk, Belgium) and works on her PhD project FOOD RELATED (www.foodrelated.org).
